Terms of Service

By downloading, installing or using WarrantyBell (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. If you use the App on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.

WarrantyBell is a mobile application developed and operated by MintSoft that helps you track return windows and warranties of your purchases. Core features are free. Certain features require a paid subscription or purchase ("Pro"). We may add, change or remove features as the App evolves.

WarrantyBell is an organizational aid. Default return and warranty periods are only suggestions, and receipt scanning and AI-generated text may contain mistakes. You are responsible for checking every date, amount and message against the seller's or manufacturer's actual terms before you rely on it or send it.

Reminders depend on your device settings, battery saving and notification permissions, and may be delayed or not delivered. The App does not guarantee that you will be notified, and we are not responsible for missed return windows, lapsed warranties or rejected claims.

Your data is stored only on your device. We cannot recover it if you lose, reset or change your phone without a backup. Keep your own backups.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, according to these Terms and the applicable app-store rules. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sublicense the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except where the law prohibits this restriction
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm others or impair the service

• All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and billed to your store account. We never receive your payment card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel at any time in your store account settings: App Store, Apple ID, Subscriptions; or Google Play, Payments and subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Free trials, where offered, convert into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Price changes are communicated in advance through the store. Continued renewal after the change takes effect is acceptance.
• Refunds are governed by the policies of the relevant store. Please direct refund requests to Apple or Google. Nothing in this section limits refund rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
• Restore purchases on a new device with the Restore purchases option in the App.

The free version of the App displays advertising served by third parties. Advertisers are responsible for the content of their ads. Pro removes ads.

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to probe or disrupt its infrastructure, misrepresenting your identity to us, or using the App to create or transmit unlawful, infringing or harmful content.

The App, including its source code, design, graphics, icons, trademarks and content (excluding content you create), is and remains the exclusive property of MintSoft and its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. The content you create in the App, such as your items, notes and photos, belongs to you.

The App relies on third-party services such as app stores, advertising, crash reporting, purchase-management and on-device text-recognition or AI components provided by the operating system or Google. They operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that receipt scanning, default periods, reminders or generated claim drafts will be accurate or complete.

Content provided by the App is for general informational purposes only and is not legal, financial or other professional advice. Whether a return or warranty claim is accepted is decided solely by the seller or manufacturer.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MINTSOFT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, INCLUDING LOSSES FROM MISSED DEADLINES OR REJECTED CLAIMS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You agree to indemnify and hold MintSoft harmless from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 8, 10, 11 and 12) survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and where feasible we will also give notice in the App. Continued use after changes take effect is acceptance.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and MintSoft regarding the App. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to iOS downloads to the extent it does not conflict with these Terms.
